Message for The Flying Dutchman & Tosca ticket holders
The decision to cancel Opera Lyra Ottawa’s (OLO) two remaining productions this season - The Flying Dutchman and Tosca – was extremely difficult. It is a necessary part of OLO’s plan to regain a sound financial footing as soon as possible. OLO took this step now to be fair to the artists, production staff, and everyone affected by the decision.
Opera Lyra Ottawa will return for its 28th season with a main stage presentation of La Bohème in Sept. 2012, and La Traviata in concert in March 2013.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these changes and want to ensure we accommodate ticket holders preferences as best as possible under the circumstances.
All ticket holders will be contacted by Opera Lyra Ottawa by mail within the next two weeks with details about their options, including ticket exchanges or refunds.
