You are invited to become an Opera Lyra Ottawa Ambassador because you recognize the value of Opera Lyra Ottawa’s indispensible role in the community it serves to inspire and engage through opera.
For the past 26years, the Company has grown to become a vital part of the Region’s artist fabric, offering excellent productions of classic and modern masterpieces and so much more through its lauded Education and Outreach programs.
The Ambassadors Program is designed to help you “get the word out” about this remarkable organization and its good work. Working together, we can help build loyal audiences and enlarge the donor/sponsor base.
The Ambassadors Program creates community sales force of all stakeholders by supplying the necessary tools. Your Ambassadors Tool Kit (below) includes information about the Company, Social Media Guide and promotional materials as they become available. As Ambassadors, we reach out to all of Opera Lyra Ottawa’s publics and invite them to experience opera as new ticket holders or subscribers, or to renew their subscription.
Fact - The number one reason why someone comes to the opera for the first time is because someone they knew invited them!
As Ambassadors, you are encouraged to contact (phone, email, tweet, Facebook, etc.) your family, friends, colleagues and spread the word about Opera Lyra Ottawa and its vital place in the community. Opera Lyra Ottawa brings to the National Arts Centre a live theatrical experience not to be missed.
