Opera Lyra Ottawa believes that performing arts education is vital to its community, and we offer a variety of programs to introduce children and youths to the power and beauty of opera. Tosca is a singer, and her voice seduces all who hear it. But when an escaped political prisoner sends the city of Rome into upheaval, she is drawn into a deadly game of cat and mouse with a ruthless police chief who will do anything he can to capture the dissident-even if it means forcing Tosca to betray the only man she ever loved.
