Ticket Sales cover approximately 40% of the cost of presenting a mainstage opera, Government Funding Grants and Foundations contribute another 30%. Individual donors (like you) and sponsors make up the final 30%.
Annual and monthly donations, multi-year pledges and sponsorships, bequests, and gifts of stock are common ways that opera lovers in the community have chosen to support Opera Lyra Ottawa. They see their contributions at work on stage and through the education programs we offer to our community.
